This town may have the same zip code as Newport, but it does stand on its own. There’s also a YMCA Camp Coniston in town, creating a community of campers year after year.

Located on Route 10, near the fire station, Spectacle Pond becomes an ad hoc winter meeting place when folks gather around the fishing holes. So don’t be shy about taking a walk on the ice and saying “hello.”
