Grantham is worth a stop to see the rolling green hills, the clear blue lake of Eastman, or the old barns and farms on Route 10. There’s also a thriving business community offering goods from toys to quilts to art and services from landscaping to dance classes. Eastman, a planned community in Grantham, offers golf, swimming and cross country skiing to residents, guests and visitors.

NEW! Over the river and through the woods on cross country skis we go! The Eastman Cross Country Center in Grantham offers 17 miles of groomed trails. You can start with a simple 1.1 mile “Lazy Loop” trail or try the more difficult 3.2-mile Bright Slope Trail, which includes some tricky downhill runs over bridges.

The Grantham Café, new to town, has a movie-theme decor (the owner also owns the video store next door). Open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., it's a great place for a homestyle breakfast or lunch.
