Sutton is four villages in one — North Sutton, South Sutton, Sutton Mills and Sutton. Each has its own personality, characterized by streams and lakes to stately inns and country stores. It’s not uncommon to see ducks waddling near Wadleigh State Park or wildlife taking advantage of 17,000 acres of predominantly forested open space.

Agriculture is alive and well at Muster Field Farm in North Sutton, as it has been for the last four centuries. Throughout the year, the 18th century working farm and historical homestead hosts events that highlight the rural tradition of New Hampshire agricultural life, such as Farm Days in August. It is also open on Sundays for families looking for an afternoon excursion.
